We’re a social gym and we support our community

We’re also involved in many charitable causes including Project Angel Heart, a local organization that prepares and delivers medically tailored meals to people living with severe illness. In addition, our gym owner Susan Schaffner hosts free monthly Bariatric Support Group meetings at the gym for both members and non-members to share their experiences, ask questions, and get the emotional support they need before and after surgery.

While we all love the atmosphere inside AFAC gym, sometimes it’s nice to go outside and get some fresh air. That’s why AFAC gym offers outdoor exercise experiences for our members.
